Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Snowy Mountain Software (ZYEYZ, LLC) — “we”, “us” or “our” — operates 3rt1, a web games platform at 3rt1.com. This policy explains what we collect and what we do not.
You can browse and play games without an account. We do not sell anything, and there is no payment processing anywhere on the site.
2. What we collect
Account information
If you create an account we store your username, email address and a secure hash of your password. We never store your password itself. Registration is currently limited to a closed beta.
Gameplay
We record game sessions so scores and standings work: which game was played, your score, placement, how long the session lasted, and per-game statistics. For signed-in players this is linked to the account and totalled into a profile of games played, wins and high scores.
Couch co-op rooms
Co-op games use a short room code shown on the shared display, with players joining from their own devices. While a room is running we hold the code, the game being played and the list of players in it. Names you type when joining are shown to everyone in the room, so use whatever you like — there is no need to use a real one.
Server logs
Our servers record standard log data: IP addresses, browser type, referring page and timestamps. This is used for security and for keeping the service running.
Analytics
We use Umami, an analytics tool we host ourselves on our own servers. It records page views and general usage, without cookies and without building a profile of you. Nothing is shared with a third-party analytics provider, and there are no advertising trackers anywhere on the site.
Contact form
If you write to us we receive the name, email address, topic and message you submit, plus the IP address it came from. This is emailed to us and is not stored on the site.
3. Cookies
We set a session cookie when you sign in, and a CSRF token cookie that protects form submissions. Both are necessary for the site to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
4. How we use it
To run the games and their scoreboards, to keep your account working, to answer messages you send us, to understand in aggregate which games people play, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
5. How long we keep it
Account and gameplay data is kept while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove it along with its sessions and profile. Finished co-op rooms are cleared out automatically. Server logs rotate on a short schedule.
6. Children’s privacy
The games are suitable for all ages and can be played without an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because room display names are typed in freely and shown to everyone in the room, we ask that children use a nickname rather than their real name. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will remove it.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you
- request correction of anything inaccurate
- request deletion of your account and its associated data
Use the contact form for any of these.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed, and we will tell account holders by email if a change is significant.
